Little Wing Auto Gyro now For Sale

Postby The Agent » Sat Feb 14, 2009 3:48 pm

It has been in the making for some time now and the second manual after arobbery at the shop it is now starting to take shape.
I am just the moral support and Sakkie my old trusted friend is the builder.
Have made some changes on the undercarraige and presently busy with the upright pillar.

Engine we would have liked the Rotac but it looks like it will be the rotary B13 engine now. (-)

Very nice.

At least this has structure around pilot and pax to minimise injury in the event of an accident.

Will it be heavier than a normal Gyro?

How many HP do you think you can get out of the Rotary. Assume you will need a re-drive for the prop.

Very interesting project.

Kind regards,

Looks very interesting. Your chances of having an accident in in autogyro are mimimal due to the engine being in front and not being in a pusher configuration. I have never read of PIO in autogyros, just in the usual gyro that does not have a proper horizontal stabilizer.
What take off distance do you think you will need?

Radial. Rotary is an entirely different beast. Not many left in existence.

Ek het al gewonder of ons vir Boet kan convince om 'n propeller bo-op 'n bushbaby vas te maak.

Think it will be a great flyer, and even George will like it................because of the small wheel.
