Deburring is a pain in the neck job, but it is nice to see the project grow as the pieces came together. (^^)
How many hours do you expect it will take to build the wings?

Assembling the wings skeletons was a much better job - apart from a few mishaps as previously mentioned.

Its nice to see the wings starting to take shape.

Eventually after all the fitting ribs, drilling some out and refitting, the skeletons are complete but for one rib which I re0ordered from vans   . It arrived today.

Last night I assembled and fitted the stall warning device. Vans had given me a bad batch of washers where the thickness did not match any listed washer. It was quite important as the stall warning vane protrudes through a thin slit in th wing and the washers have different thicknesses so that you can get it exactly right. Had to make a trip to Placo to purchace the right ones.

Ready now to skin the wings but as I have to get them inspected and signed off first, I decided to finish the flaperon skeletons first and have them inspected all at the same time.

The problem is that my single garage workshop is getting crowded so will first have to make some brackets to put the wings on the wall so that I have space to build.

I expect it will take me a total of about 130 hours for the wings. Have not formalised all my build time on them yet but I expect to finish them in the next month or so.

Then on to the fuse..........man its gonna get crowded in there. maybe time to take over the jacuzi room for storage **

Put some brackets up and managed to get both wings out the way which has created some much needed working space.

So never got both wings completed but nearly there.

Right wing done and left wing has just the center top skin, wing-tip and strobe to go.
