Well done Oupa. (^^)

In the fly-by pic the clean lines of the plane really caught my eye. The landing gear is a nice upgrade and the nose cowl looks good.

Low level

That is just how a team effort this plane was, the nice cowl is the art work of Boet and the gear is my piece of art work, and you will soon see the new gear it is even prettier. Thanks from every-one for the compliments.

Was actually quite busy this weekend and today, seems with all the rain and cold weather Klipdrif and his mates had a tough weekend with quite a few casualties. It is sort of true that if an argument must be resolved it is never that they hit each other's knees . They go for the part that makes the noise and they try to shut it up. Sometimes they succeed. On a different note the patiently awaited piece of paper arrived in the form of a pdf file and I have taken a photo for the world to see. I'm now set free.

The fairest has not been the fairest the last few days I'm busy installing the new gear. But I have to drive to the hangar and the weather has been extremely wet. But as soon as the weather plays ball I will come up with the figures. All I can tell is the take-off is not a take-off before you have given a gentle full throttle she is already in the air feels about 100m or less. The pictures show less but I will report once I have measured it. What I can say is that it must be the easiest aircraft that I have flown controls very balanced and a wonderful rudder control. A very easy taildragger with no funny vices. The flaperon control is with the fingers and she was a hands free cruiser from the word go. With the 72X52 de Necker prop and pushing it a bit she runs 100mph, but then I'm at the top of my rpm limit.
I have now reinstalled the Arplast prop and on the first flight she over revved the prop was pitched the same as for a 912s I have increased the pitch with 3degrees but haven't flown it yet. Just a photo of the approach to land I'm still coming in a bit to fast. That will change in the near future after I have tested the stall speed.I see the visits have gone past the 64000 mark. I would never have dreamt that that is possible, thanks.

Cheers Oupa-G

Ek glo die maggic nommer is 60mph Oupa. Approach en climb. Die Vx behoort so 56-58 te wees en die Vy omtrent so 62-64. As jy alleen en lig is kan die approach afkom na 55

Dual my baby stalls at 49mph and solo 43mph. So using the X 1.3 rule I approach over the numbers at 65 dual and 56 solo. Be interesting to see how this baby performs. What does she weigh empty?
