Assistance with covering wings, stabilator and rudder

Postby Bosvark » Tue Aug 23, 2016 9:35 pm

I am at a point with my VP 1 (have been for some time now) where I need to get my finger out of the place it is stuck and get the plane covered. The Dacron has been bought long ago and the dope and fabric cement recently from Kitplanes at Petit. (Who also welded the wing-struts for me)

But I am afraid to tackle this all by myself and have received an offer to assist me but it is a bit far to transport the plane there and back. It will cost quite a bit and besides that I do not have a vehicle that can tow such a long (heavy) trailer.

Now I am begging for assistance from someone around the Gauteng area (-)

I was afraid, it is a lot easier than you think - Just get someone to show you how its done and you will surprise yourself.
