I am very jealous - I have been looking for a Sonerai for a while now. Awesome little planes.

Will be interesting to see if the Discoverer fits. There is very little space for a rear panel - and since that is where the pilot sits, there are also some interesting arrangements to try and make everything accessible from there. As a side line, I have been working on an application to use a tablet as a second display for MGL EFIS systems - which might also work, but you would not be able to control the panel from the tablet - only view it.

Would be interesting to hear which one this is.
Not too many came alive in SA.
Ralph Burnham used to have one down at Utenhage, ZS WSW used to belong to me (15 years ago) before Neil rebuild it and sold it to someone in Bethlehem
Then there were a couple of Sonerai I's but I never kept track of them

I managed to get hold of Andre.

His Sonerai II L was built from the original Jeremy Monnett plans and completed in 1994. It has 125 h on the 1835cc VW derivative engine and cruises at 110mph indicated. It has the "vintaeg" rounded fin, tailwheel and 500x5 main wheels. Wings are aluminium skin, flush rivited and in the low wing configuration. Fus is 3140 tubing covered with ceconite. Seating: tandum with pilot in rear seat.

She is not advertised yet, but you are wolcome to contact him on sero eight twee 770 895 O.

Hoe lyk dit Richard, wil jy nie nog een koop nie? Dan kan julle 'n swerm besit. (!!)

Hopefully jnr will be able to give the frame some white paint this weekend. That is if the wind is calm as the open air spraybooth does not like wind.

Yes thanks it worked (^^)
used a lot less paint. It was too windy to do the final coat but we managed to cover all the areas that we missed with the first primer coat.

Dankie Jean (^^) (^^)
