Albert probably thought we forgot his plane but work was ongoing although I was away. Covering and construction of the fuselage is done. Will start the wings next week. Landing gear final prep and fairings are being installed as well.

Incredible quality and fantastic attention to detail.

Stefan, why do the cables cross over in the one pic? [ in the tail section ]

Hi Stefan
I see the Qualt in your hanger in one of the photos.
I imported it and flew it with Johan.
I have been living in Australia for the last 5 years and was wondering what had happened to her.
I loved flying her.
Kind regards Gary Butlion

Some more progress. Wing rigging completed, Landing gear covered, faired and painted. Butt ribs, roof, turtle deck, bootcowl and door skins all fitted.

The Quilt is owned by Alan Lange and is hangared at Fly-Inn. I just did some work on the brakes. Do you have more info on this plane?

Tanks are installed. Leading edges fitted today so from tomorrow is will be preperation to cover. We should be done with the covering by end next week when we go on our yearly break. Making good progress.

Thanks Stefan,

Things taking shape now looks like if we can finish this project some time early next year.
It might be in the first two months of next year. I hope.

Enjoy your well deserved break over the festive season.
