Just a quick question to all the Rotax fundis...

My engine came from the reef, thus I expect a larger main jet. (168) Currently my EGTs run cold at 710-750C. The oil temp and CHTs are normal. Apart from burning more fuel, will this have a negative effect on the engine?

I don't mind running colder EGTs and burn more fuel, as the safety margin for overheating the EGTs are favorable, but is the engine happy with this?

Had a nice local flight this morning and thoroughly enjoy the aerie..! I am now busy fitting a Titan Mustang droptank below the belly of the Raven, which will add 10 Gallons, thus increase my endurance and range significantly..

I will set it up to manual transfer between the droptank and main tank, with a small facet pump.

I will add some pics as i progress.
