Bushbaby Explorer - 156

Postby AndreWhiteman » Mon Feb 20, 2012 1:49 pm

Started building on my Explorer a couple of weeks ago. Altough the workshop wasn't ready and sorted out yet, I couldn't wait any longer to get my hands dirty and started working on her. The paint job, which I thought would be a "quicky" took me by surprise and took much longer than expected (Ended up with more than just my hands dirty / painted).
First few pics of the fuselage.

Thanks guys. Guess there will still be a lot of fun and sweat and $$$$ before I get her finished. Damm Stefan wanted to post earlier but had to come back to work on short notice (couldn't even get all the paint of my hands before I left) and when I got out here we had some "communication" problems out here...and obviously I had some "problems" to figure out how to post and attach pictures  Guess Tailspin would have like to ask the same question as you did when I started building: "Did you read the manual?"

Just for the Record

Yes i would have asked that question :!:

I read my manual about 6 times cover to cover before i started to build. Just remember to take it slow. RTFM and the think about it RTFM and then do it.

Boet, thanks for the welcome and first "free" advise. Will follow it (RTFM) and also apply LLL ( Look, Listen and Learn )from all your guys that have been in the "game" for many years .
BTW your "Airie" realy looks sweet amongst that flowers. Haven't been to your part of the country since 1981  so I might just come down there this year to see how you guys do it down there. (Daai KWV en Hanepoot klink so half "saf" op die lippe en die oor.) (^^)
