Ons het begin werk aan die Turbi se vlerke, na twee dae van verf afhaal, al sewe lae daarvan, lyk hulle nou so. Moerse werk. Die "slots" op die vlerke is nie mooi gemaak nie, en kraak oral. Ek het die oues verwyder, en gaan n nuwe set opmaak uit composites., ligter en sterker.

Die een vlerk is aaamper klaar, maar nou eers te besig om te oorlewe... Maar gou Gister begin om n nuwe stel sitplek frames van aly te maak. Die ou seats was swaaaaaar, 18kg op skaal. En boonop in der dagen sat. Die nuwe sitplek rame is lekker lig, en die hele ding gaan minder as 12kg weeg! Vordering is maar stadig, maar dis darem vorentoe. Ek het n nuwe fairing van glasvesel gemaak vir die bokant van die voorvenster se raam. Nie te shabby uitgekom nie.

Sitplek in wording. Planne sit hier bo in die kop!!

Die sitplek gedeelte kry n "bench seat". Ek hou meer van n bench seat as n Bucket seat, want alle bucket seats pas nie vir my size bucket nie! Die rugleunings kan individieel vorentoe slaan, om by die bagasie ruim uit te kom. LW: Ek beplak nie meer die bagasie ruime met swart mat nie, ek sprei dit wit, dan is dit nie so n "donker gat" nie.

Mmmm. En jy het n dooie draadloos aan my verkoop. Gelukkig kon Gerhard Tromp darem die ding regmaak. Sal hom darem seker so teen Vrydag terug he. :roll:

The seat is finished, now to get the right density foam, and then I have to start up my trusty old Singer sewing machine for the upholstery job! vhpy

Very comfortable , the bottom part is now a one piece bench seat. Jaaa jaaa, I know it will be a lot more comfy with some thing softer added.

But the seatbacks can fold forward individually to give access to the luggage compartment. Painted white inside. No dark hole to scratch around in for your stuff!!
