1933 Spitfire Simulator

I am looking for help with this project and as I have a huge respect for the knowledge of all on this forum, I have decided to post it here
This simulator was part of the Ray Gleymius meseum and after his death it was bought by someone in Bloemfontein
He dumped it in his floorless hangar and it was flodded a number of times, resulting in extreme damage
As a result he was about to dump it, but I am now looking at taking it from him and restoring it as best I can
I just feel that this is a piece of history that should not be allowed to rot away
Any information on this sim or any other like it will be appreciated, especially photos and or drawings of the complete thing
