I'm now busy with constructing the wings. One now at the stage of fitting the tank inside. Got most gauges for the panel, still not sure what GPS to fit. Hope to be a panel mount. The engine going to be Jabiru 2200. Will post more on the wing soon.

vhpy Very nice, looks like you are quite busy and eager to get flying. You have not perhaps considered the Revmaster R2300 ,85 hp engine ?

Thanks to everyone. I got the kit in May. So just the beginning. Anyone got photos of the building of the wing (fitting the tank), don't know what to do with the top angle on the ribs.
I thinking of red and white. Liked the colours of the Animal. But with a black stripe.

Jean, I will come and make a turn by you in Barrydale when I pass with the bike the next time. I got a Jabiru at KFA at a goods price.

vhpy Good for you with an engine. You are most wellcome to visit me, and that goes for any other person on Microlighters. I have another business that sometimes takes me away from my workshop, so just call me a day or so in advance.

This makes me curious regarding the option to build one's own aircraft. Stasnds to reason when building own craft the working and understanding must be excellent which in turn will enhance the operation of the craft.
Can anyone please advice how to set wheels rolling to initialise such project as well as the certification and testing procedures.(I am a novice on this playing field)
I am at present followin protocol to apply for learner license but at the same time wants to look at several options to enable me to compile a shortlist of preferences in priority sequence. Much obliged in advance for advice.
