Even before I have collected I have had "serious" offers to buy it . Gee a man n bietjie kaans manne... . Been almost 4 years to the day that this aerie has been in the "making".... min dae...

Pity could not get it together before Numbi... Would have liked to Dice Demon all the way there and back....

Now what is the wx like up your way? Last night and today we nearly got blown away. Have not had that much wind in a long time. Any aeroplane pushed outside it`s hangar today would just have been blown over. Seems tomorrow will be better. But as the wind is blowing from the North-East, it will be a LOOOOOOONG flight home. Whatever you decide, keep me posted. From my side: Wait untill a biggish cold front comes thru, then chase home after it, that way you will have a tailwind........usually.

Flew FAGM - FAVB 3-4ish today. Rand was IMC. let me out. light misty type clouds around GP. Then near Carltonville started clearing up and then near Potch Plenty beeeeg CB's looking very dark and plenty updrafts even 20nm away. thermal activity was a glider pilots dream.... Heading out of Big smoke 190+kts at cruise settings.. just past FAPS, speed down 50kts and wind was NW, not 100% headwind. bumped like moer. Gps show GS 142kts. while indicating in yellow on ASI (165kts indicated - Never get that on a good day). Def don't want to be 1-3-5-7-2-4-6 in that wx. We wait till next week and see if WX gods play along.... Sigh . This aerie should have been called HUAW....






Hurry Up And Wait.... another week won't hurt. been 4 years after all....

Another beeeautifull day in paradise. Weather too good to waste..... so I went flying. Why is it so much different to fly when your flight is accompanied by Radial-music. 1.3.5.7.2.4.6...... Smiling like an idiot all the way. This engine runs very nice now, have not misfired a beat. Oom George, I may have told you so already, but I want to tell you again......
