I guess we all have our personal likes and dislikes and it is exactly gotech's blocked rpm tuning software that I HATE. You often end up tuning the wrong block not realising the engine ain't in the block you are tuning. I like to see the entire map in front of me and the numbers make more sense to me than little bar graphs.
If it was me I'd certainly run return lines to the tank like normal EFI systems.
Nuts about Cheetahs. Petit is the place.

Thanks for your input.
One by fuel return with check valve installed. We will test both ways.
Thanks. :)

Hi There, vhpy
I Took Some snaps: Cobra fitted with 1NZ Toyota 1.5 , 106 hp Engine.
The upside down Pod on the seat area is the proposed spray pattern.
Busy with the wiring, to connect to the Dicktator Management that I bought from Johan Minnaar.
He will be doing the tuning for us.
We hope to get the gearbox mid February

i really like this idea as an alternative engine. The four cylinders makes it much easier to find an ECU. Did you find the gearbox on the internet?

I think that everybody is very curious exactly how much it is going to weigh. Can you please keep track of each separate item as you mount them including the gearbox, engine mount, radiator, coolant, etc. Boet's got some numbers for the 912 and oupaG got the numbers for the BMW which we can use to compare.

Your engine mount looks interesting. I would like to know how well it works once you are flying.

I am waiting in anticipation to see what this baby will perform like !!

Question, why do you need a gearbox ? Surely you nhave enough power for a direct drive ?

And I am curious to know the weight of the original exhaust manufold, you must have gained a lot there .

The gearbox is only to get a reduction in the revs. Prop have to turn around 2500rpm and the engine revs more than double that.

Boet, ek het sover nog net die "baseplate" in posisie, soos in die middelste foto bo gesien kan word.
Sien meegaande fotos van soortgelyke applikasies.

Smallfly, I agree with Wallaby.
