Ditto on the good article.
Have passed it around to my flying buddies here at work (these guys fly the BIG bliks!) and all are most impressed with what is being done under NTCA. Well done Oupa-G, Vliegvark, Otto and the guys from Louries. You chaps are doing us proud.

We have to cherish NTCA and set a standard above what CAA requires. We are after-all free so we are free to set higher standards.

Read it today. You guys are doing something to be proud of, its so nice to see that we (SA)are progressing things in such a way as to maintain standards, and performance yet make the sport more affordable.

I am sure it is also a lot of fun putting this project together.

Hats off to Oupa and Bosvark

I have read the article in Popular Mechanics and find it quite misleading. In the article no honorable mention is made of all the hard work and countless hours put in by my dad, Boet and his team in Loeriesfontein. The article made it seem as if Oupa-G and VliegVark did all the designing and building. Completely different from what I know to be the true fact. My Dad has been building and fixing Bushbabies for the past 13 years and I think he is due more recognition than he is getting in this misleading article.
Congratulations on the good work dad!

Dear Spikes85 I understand the concern and critisism on the article the senior editor of the magazine was very adamant that popular mechanics want to bring new things on the market and the concentration was on the engine management system and the electronics of the engine, if anything Otto that designed the Eboxi's did not get enough cover but he was not available when the pictures were taken. Never ever did we not try to mention the Loeriesfontein team of whom Boet is the Kingpin Heart and Driving force. If you watch the blog on building the Bushbaby Safari there is no doubt about how the aircraft came about actually that blog has passed the 38000 mark in hits. And at the end of the article the website is mentioned . I have the pdf file of the article and will pass it on if you so require. I hope you understand the explanation and if a wrong perception came across it was never intended to not give accreditation where accreditation is due. Through the whole project Boet and Annatjie and the whole team have come very close to my heart I would never want to hurt them.

Cheers Oupa-G
