Hi Gavin,

Way to go, a homebuilder can not be kept down.

Is it a VP2 you are thinking of building?

Kind regards,

Gunter.

Well Gavin, if the flying/ passenger bug suddenly bites your wife, you will need a two seater... At the very least you will probably need it for Junior sometime in the future! :)

Hi Guys

Yea my 5y/o daughter is already asking when she can go with Papa.

I would like to build a VP-2 but i am also looking at another aircraft which has also tickled my fancy. I want something i can go to Durban or to Cape Town without killing my butt. But a nice baby to buzz around the patch.

Hi Gavin,

Also have a look at Jodels, must be some unfinished projects lying around.

Last heard that there may be some Jodel bits in Brits area.

If you have a look at Jodels, make sure it is Jodel plans, and not Falconer from Canada, because Falconer aeries are build much heavier. and do not cruise as fast as Jodels.

Kind regards,

Gunter.

I like it's allround looks and performance.

Hi Griffin and All

OK OK OK i am busy getting all the final sorta stuff together. Still outstanding is the following :- Struts (waiting for them to be welded up) - Wheels (modified BB wheels and Rims @ Engineers for remachining) - Motor (VW Need i say More  ) - Paint (ordered and it is going to be sent to me soon).

I have been playing with the  of putting a RATTEX motor in :?: Just a thought

Hi All

I have decided to change the colour scheme as it was going to be silly to put 8 coats of Paint on my Baby. I have ddecided on an ICE WHITE with decals to break the colour.

Now i need some ideas for the decals- NOTE : not too fancy as they are being donated by a friend.
