This project now with me. Beginning assembly tomorrow. Went to big smoke on Thursday to collect. Was back this morning at 04.30. Dog-tired but safe. Man, am I thankfull I do not live in JHB :shock: Felt like kissing the ground when I got out of my Venture here at home.
The Radial engine is truly an engineering work of art. I can hardly wait to hang this item on the nose of the Explorer. Like they say: Watch this space :!: :!:

Ok guys, I have actually been asked not to hurry up and build too fast. Unpacked today. Couple of things missing from the engine. Phoned around, and seems I found missing items. Made the square tailfin rounder, welded in the landing gear braces, and the extra bracket for a dual-brake system. All the metal parts now ready to be taken to cape Town for powder coating. Then we can start assembling...... :D

Made and fitted fus stringers today. Modified door handle. Want a more "classic" look. Can not really do much more untill the frame has been powder coated. I like building once only. What gets bolted on STAYS on. :D
