Dankie manne, it has been a long hard road. LOTS of work and ATD. I only hope she will fly the way she looks! That will be a bonus. vhpy

I have heard of high speed taxi runs where the aircraft had an "extended" bounce . Some have bounced so high that for safety reasons they had to do a complete circuit vhpy

Kind regards,

Which one, the one with Boet is real.

He was filmed for "Pasella" a TV2 program that explores all the interesting places in SA amongst other things. They heard about this guy building aeries in Loeriesfontein of all places. Then Boet took her flying in the Turvey.

Boet, tell us all how the interview went?  8)

At my age you LOOK with appreciation. NOT lust. Close-up she is VERY pretty, but very nice, just a very down to earth Afrikaanse meisie that happens to be VERY pretty. Interview went well. It was strange to be in front of the cameras, when normally I am behind them!! I was as nervous as a long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs. The director talk to you first, and you have to work from the script afterwards. Fortunately I stumbled only once. Not easy to remember your script when you look Minki in the eye, and she winks at you! xxx Ather than that all the first takes were final one`s. I was glad to see that she buggered up her script more than I did, for I had my own back, and winked xxx at her when it was her turn to say something in front of the cameras. Flying with her was huge fun, although she was scared spitless    before getting into the Turbi with me, she soon relaxed, :) and even enjoyed a bit of aeros. And I gave her the controlls, and showed here how it works. She will learn to fly very quickly. Doubt if she ever will. She is now married a family member of mine. All-in -all a very nice experience. vhpy vhpy vhpy vhpy

Hello Boet.
I dont know if I admire you more for having a God given talent to build the most beautiful aircraft with subtle changes to the original plans that turn an nice aircraft into something quite extrodinary or you just standing there with you arm around Minkie.

Great job and it was a true honour to have met you at Morningstar.

Shaun, I am humbled by your kind remark, but I am just an ordinary guy enjoying myself tremendously in doing what I am passionate about. Fringe benefit: My hobby is now a full-time occupation, I fly, meet nice people, have made wonderfull friendships,......... and yes, sometimes get to meet some very pretty one`s too!!.
