but a 12 month waiting period!
Negative. 3-4 months, but flexible delivery with 12 month period at fixed cost, which is great when planning work flow as well as cashflow....

They had an article in the latest issue of Australian Ultralights where a guy flew his Rotec equipped Flybaby down to Natfly (big ultralight gathering in NSW) from Queensland I think. Long flight with no problems whatsoever.

I think it will look and sound great!

If I ever build up the courage to build something it will definitely be a radial engined aircraft - reminds one of Biggles, silk scarves, leather jacket, goggles and leather helmet..........back when men were men and sheep were nervous.

Are you possibly coming down for the massive EAA fly-in to FAEL? Bring RV and the boys down in your double engined gallon guzzler? He could fit a few kegs in that toy !!!!!

That was the plan, but due to builder delays ( :? :? :? ) we now have a site handover the following week so not looking good. ## >;((( - but will see 0< . Gallon guzz'ler should be out the shop(MPI) by then ready to go... (Get the feeling there are forces at work conspiring against me never to visit EC again)

Did the deal last night after much deliberation. Managed to find a brand new Rotec still in original Box at Petit. Rv just inspected it..... Seems the Fat Boy Bush Baby will now have a radial Roar....

I kinda like that feeling.

To extropalate further, the min speed for the PTAR is 100 kts. Imagine if our little baby can do this flat out & imagine if the new machine from the Demon can fit into that category as well.

Let the games begin.

Imagine a quick m/l beating a Baron

Think Range and Demons arms will be the bigger problem. In past they have reduced min speed to accomodate slower aeries. Only now that there are so many racers that the rules are stickter again. Some years back a tripacer (I think) took part at 91.5kts handicap speed, so am sure we could convicne them if push comes to shove...... Tzaneen is a long way away and I don't know if many will make the trek over da mountains. Am convinced that if they have 90ish or less entries and the range is OK they may be swayed....

Hello Junkie

Yip, it's very impressive! Rudi is one of my flying buddies from Springs and every so often I visit his house to look at the RV progress. He's really doing a good job and as you said, he really puts effort in all he does!

Can't wait for a spin when "she's" finish!!
