On the ECU: As it was an Imported engine, the loom was part of the engine so we used the existing plugs and sensors to make our own loom to connect to the after market ecu. With additional relays and fuse boxes.
Engine Mounts: Pipe bending we did our self. Had welding done by Argon Arc coded welder and then had it heat stress re leaved by a specialist.
Belt Drive: Very good idea, but couldn't get the parts we needed. (At the time of investigation we decided that the Gates Poly Chain Carbon belt and pulley system was the best on the market, they realised we wanted to use it on a Microlite and refused us any further assistance as it is against their policy to allow any of their products to be used on any aircraft)
