I've been quite busy with the aerie lately. Most of the parts, including wings and fuselage have been primed...

Just this time of the year frustrates me... All the paint shops are closed...!!!

Arrived at the airfield after a safe road trip... Isn't she a beaut...??

I am busy with the aircraft registration. Already got the registration letters reserved... Officially ZU-INJ (Irené and Jacques)...

next up is fitting the stab, rudder and control cables...

thanks Boet... ek wil ook vir n slag n mooi errie he! Ek is nog nuuskierig om te voel hoe HIERDIE taildragger vlieg...

Dit gaan nog n tydjie wees voor ek kan vlieg. eers als aanmekaar sit en dan vir proving flights aansoek doen... Die vreugde van CAA en papierwerk...

Here the stabiliser and rudder fitted. I also installed the elevator electric trim and elevator cables.

This is it for now. I am off to work abroad, so will only continue in a couple of weeks time. I will then complete the build which includes engine installation, wiring, panel, upholstery and of course application for proving flights...
