As ek hom soo kyk lyk dit vir my of die "potte" voor die cowling sal uitsteek? Indien so dan smaak ek dit stukkend.... Indien noe weet ek nog nie..

Ek dink sal beter lyk (en klink) as die cowl net die agterkant toe maak tot omtrent waar die mount ann eng vas maak. Miskien so Iets?

Jou enjin sal in die wind sit. Dit sal n skreiende skande wees om so n mooi stuk "clockwork" onder n cowling weg te steek. Jy kan nou maar weer relax :D

I completed the jig for the engine mounting today. Now need a coded welder to weld the pipes in. :D

And I bought some 4130 1/2" OD tubing today to weld up the mount. I have to mitre all the tubes, and I found a well qualified coded welder in CT who will also give docs on the engine mount weldment. Now all I need is a little time. If this year do not run out too fast, maybe I can hang the radial....... :D :D :D

Ek het die volgende instrumente. Moet ek hulle saambring?

Alti, VSI, ASI, Turn & Bank (24 volt) en KT76 met alt encoder.
Die transponder het alt encoder, maar sal wiring loom en try nodig he.


Die 8 day clock, AH (uit n spitfire se hulle?) en oer oue Cessna DI is baie groot en swaer maar sou mooi classic gelyk het...


Wat van n authentic ou narco navcom, speedo DME, ADF, VOR en ILS

I too have a heap of those OLD instruments. They weigh a ton each. It will not make good sense to fit such old instruments. New ones will not cost all that much, it is a NEW aerie, remember?? Lets put new stuff is please. Look at pics. My 2c. See you when?? Ok, I have made the Animal`s panel "different". How about a "wood" look? :D The pics is just for ideas.
