Hopefully not. The engine is a 912, that has been too near the coast for too long. :( It has some corrosion, so cosmetically it looks shit. :( But then the price compensated, and she runs very sweet. (!!) I got the boereraat to paint the engine with vinegar, to get rid of all the white spots, but that was not very effective. :( A small steel brush seems like a more effective candidate, or bead blasting. :? What do you guys suggest? But I got a very good deal on it, and the engine is complete with a 72" 3-blade Warp drive prop, all radiators, coolers, switches and gadgets to make the prop go round, silently, because silencer system also in the fray. For you oke`s near the coast, spray your engines with a light coat of some sort of penetrant oil, to keep it from rusting. This looks terrible.

Engine looks all spiffy after it has been blasted. Now just to put all together again. KFA making up the latest engine mount system for my Baby! Anyone have a spare "spider tank" lying around? This engine still has the old system, loose spider tank and 2 stroke type header tank. I want to de-clutter a bit! ( Like things to be kept VERY simple!) vhpy
