Cross-wind I also use these same connectors they keep out moisture and are really high quality,
good luck with the build.

Re: Conrads CH 750 Project
This weeks update 14 Jun...
- Busy finishing off the wing but now have to install fuel tank, fuel flow sender and block off stupid extra hole in the fuel tank (still not sure how to do that) Once I have the fuel tank installed, I can close up and start wing # 2. I will strap the nose skin tonight and begin final drilling on the top skin (just remembered that I have to assemble my daughters pram tonight.......)

Probably more like 17.70 % complete. What else do you expect from a Project Manager?Scotsman wrote:Conrad are you sure that you are 17.5% complete not 17% complete?

Re: Conrads CH 750 Project
PC's working again - pity I am not. I have been fighting this terrible flu for the past two weeks (still not over it).
I have finished bending both wing skins and have drilled all holes to final size. Now to strip, debur and re-install. I am not rushing at the moment as I need to buy my nav lights before I can finish and its flipping cold at night in my garage!!!!!

Re: Conrads CH 750 Project
Drill them (root skins) to size but don't trim. You do the trimming once the wing is on the plane because it's where it touches the roof of the cabin that matters. Once the wing is fitted you'll see nicely where to trim.

Re: Conrads CH 750 Project
Thanks for that - makes sense. I now need to get myself a pair of crimp pliers before I can continue.

Make one. Dead easy if you can weld.. Took me about 20 minutes to turn a R40 scrappy pawn shop pliers into a R300 crimp plierscross_wind wrote: I now need to get myself a pair of crimp pliers before I can continue.
