Good News and Feedback: Misasa AGM

Below is a quick summary of The Misasa AGM.
• The AGM was well attended by 43 members.
• Alex Rudd was elected the new chairman. Some committee members were re-elected and some new ones came in, giving a good balance between new and old hands.
• 2009 Misasa Fees remain the same, BUT in contrast to previous years the monies are going to be spent on the members. (Due to good financial management, hard Free working committee members and that most Misasa events & functions are being self funding now, it means a recovery was made and there is money available for expenditure on the members again)
- This will be spent on the Misasa Magazine which is coming back,
- Misasa branding gear for its members; and
- Other interesting ideas YOU can think of, send your ideas to Alan Mackenzie [alanmack@iafrica.com]
