Hi Donald.

As per our discussion, this is the proposed seminar and road show/talks that RAASA is planning for the coming months.
These will be for Microlighting, Gliding, Gyrocopter, Hang & paragliding and Parachuting as well as Modelling and other sport or recreation aviation clubs.
Some discussions points will be;
1. General RAASA duties & responsibilities.
2. Current and proposed regulations.
3. Licences & ATF’s
4. Special Air Events
5. FUA & Airspaces
6. ATO requirements and future plans.
7. Growth and Development in Recreation Aviation
8. Q & A
· Airshow Safety Officer Workshops (RAASA/ASSA) RAASA Offices 12th February
·
· AP and Instructors Seminar; RAASA Offices Rand Airport; 26th MARCH
·
· Road show Western Cape/Morningstar Between the 15th and 17th April 2011
·
· Road show Freestate/Bloemfontein 6th & 7th May
·
· Road show Eastern Cape, TBA 3rd & 4th June
·
· Road show KZN, Cato Ridge or Eston, 8th & 9th July
·
· Road show Mpumalanga, Nelspruit, 5th & 6th August
·
· Road show North West, Polokwane, 15th & 16th September

These are still proposed dates but will serve as a guideline of our intended road show.
I am sure that MISASA may be interested in joining forces with RAASA to talk to and answer questions from the industry.
Feel free to discuss this with your committee and members in order to formalise some of the proposed dates and venues.

Alan, I am sure we are going to capitalize on this platform presented by RAASA.

I am sure the chaps in SAGPA will also tag along....
