Hopeless!
After holding for 30 minutes, I started to send this fax. Listening to the operator telling me to hold, then being put through to Mr Swanepoel's phone, push # to get back to operator message, back in que etc etc.
Now start sending a fax. Do this every minute, updating times every minute or so. Fax it to the CEO, the switchboard, the public relations office.
Maybe Mary will phone you back (after 50 minutes, and 14 faxes)
Maybe you will NOW discover that you should have included a copy of your ID (this must have changed since you asked them 10 days ago what they need). Maybe you will get some service. Then, again, maybe not.

Re: How to get some action out of the CAA
try 011 545 1xxx. Insert any 3 numbers after the 1 in the
, then say you transferred to wrong dept and ask them to transfer you to the right dept. Usually works within the first 3-4 number combinations...

At the WCMC meeting last month the guy from CAA actually admitted that they sit there looking at their ringing phones, because the first "sucker" to answer a phone get all the transfers from switchboard.
