Groete,
Gunter Rostek

The Jukka Tervamaki is developed for a 1700 VW direct drive engine.
I would prefer a rotax 582 e box.
The problem with this is that you have to use a longer prop than the direct drive.
With a longer prop you need a longer mast and also need to move your engine higher.
This will have an effect on your thurstline that you need to adjust by making the tail section longer or moving the seat forward. This will have an effect on your centre of gravity.
By making all these adjustments you could end up with an unstable gyro or spend more on development than you would have paid for a brand new one.
Or alternatively contact Bennie for a VW engine !!
