New Gyros - ZU - October - help

Postby Steve_SP » Tue Nov 05, 2013 8:40 pm

Hi

Latest extract shows three new gyros 2 brand new Cavalons and 1 older RAF 2000

ZU-RKP - Cavalon- c/n V00125

ZU-RKR - Cavalon - c/n V00126

ZU-RKS - RAF 2000 GTX SE F1 - c/n H2-95-6-189

Can you help with the RAF 2000 - the c/n suggests it is a 1995 vintage machine, RAF #189 - I've yet to trace where this has appeared from - I would guess it's either a recent secondhand import from overseas or maybe an older local machine that's perhaps been re-built/restored ( or long shot maybe a kit that was never before actually completed, ie a 18 year gestation ).

If you know ZU-RKS and can help with a brief life history of this machine then I'd love to hear - thanks.

Hi Steve,

The RAF 2000 with serial nr H2-95-6-189, was sold to a guy in Las Vegas in 1996 then sold and imported to South Africa, currently being build by the new South African owner.

Should have any further questions regarding this RAF2000 Kit you can contact me directly via email: yolande@rafsa.co.za

Hi Yolande - thanks for your reply and your help in resolving that particular query - do you know if it was a "flyer" in the US or maybe uncompleted ?

Thanks
