I am not saying more into the wind, I am saying more power downwind, but I get the principle of what you are saying. What about your aircrafts attitude in an engine out scenario flying into a 15kt wind or downwind of it?
The attitude is exactly the same. The aircraft flies in the air. It makes absolutely no difference to the aircraft whether that air is moving relative to the ground (i.e. wind), or not. (Note: gusts make a difference, but not a steady wind.)

Justin, sorry yes you are 100% correct, my blond moment. I am talking about the difference in angle of climb / descent with up or downwind, but again this is only due to the difference in ground speed / ground distance covered which you have mentioned.
