M24 Panel upgrade

Postby KFA » Fri Aug 16, 2013 10:20 pm

For those who might find it interesting I thought I would show a panel upgrade we are busy with on a M24 Orion. Flydat and some other instuments coming out to make way for a new Odyssey. Total weight about the same as before, give or take a couple of grams.

More progress. Should finish the panel part over the weekend and then re-install Monday.
Total time to do the installation is about 2-3 weeks. Give or take a couple of days.

Very nice! As someone who has re-made a number of panels, I am acutely aware of the difficulties and down to 1 mm tolerances! Well done! Had up to ten or more templates cut until everything fitted perfectly before having the final panel cut.....

What are the 'plates' on the rudder pedals?

Thanks guys, Gawie took his baby home today and all went well.

I was lucky on this one. We only had to redo the small panel in the center. The rest fit the first time. Those plates are just removeable rudder pedals.
