Low Flying Complaint

Postby saraf » Mon May 06, 2013 9:26 am

Hi guys, i was contacted by 2 different farmers last week about 5 gyros flying very low over there farms. The one complaint came from the north of Upington and the same day from a farm to the east.

The one farmer to the east said that some of his springbuck ran through wires as one of the gyros, yellow one was flying less than 50ft agl.

I did see the gyros land at Upington and depart again about 2pm.

Guys i know low flying is nice but please the kalahari also have wires and some farms with animals. We are not doing ourselves and our sport any favors in doing this.

Regards
Eben Mocke Jnr
Good instructors always speak well about all flying machines.
Bad instructors speak badly about machines they cannot fly.

I say pleae publish the Reg no's. I am on my way to 1 of the 2 x fly-aways in the next month, and I am going to be treated like a rubbish. Please I beg you publish the Reg, then we all know who they are! I have just done my annual renewal, and have not seen anywhere where it says you are allowed to fly at that level.
