Very nice indeed - at first I thought there were two aircraft but this one has a real split personality with a different colour scheme on each side.

Do you know if this is a sales tour machine which will ultimately depart elsewhere or to be the first example based in South Africa ?

The plan for now is that she stays in SA for the next year.

Hi

Unfortunately Trixy suffered their first fatal accident on the 8th March when a G4-2R crashed into a wooded hillside in Germany.

Estimates suggest approx 15 deliveries to date.

A German news report can be found here.

The German BFU accident bureau are on the case so hopefully a cause/causes will be identified in due course.

Fly Safe

Lets not get ahead of ourselves. An accident can't always be relayed to a gyro manufacturer, right?

Lets wait for the report.

From photo 6 of 25 it looks like there are two prop blades in tact. Engine failure perhaps. Sad news
