I notice the SA CAA recently published brief details of a non-fatal accident involving the ( new ? ) gyro shown at the top of this thread on their website - ZU-RHO RAF 2000.
31st May 2013 at Avontuur private airstrip - the gyro lost directional control during take off due to a sudden cross wind and veered off the runway and nosed over in the process.
Hopefully the pilot has recovered and that the gyro might be re-built to fly again one day.
