SB for 914 showing NGK instead of DENSO Spark PLugs

Postby Rotor-Blade » Tue Jul 03, 2012 1:36 pm

HI Guys
Page 4 of 4 speaks of an alternative spark plug for the ROTAX 914, normally DENSO X277EPR-U9, can be replaced by NGK DPR9EA-9. Has anyone used this alternative sparkplug. It seems it will be easier to obtain and possibly a little more affordable

Or am I reading the document incorrectly..

I have been using the alternative NGK spark plugs , and they work just as well at a third of the price
