Emergency seat-belt cutter - *you should have yours*

Postby Learjet » Fri Jul 01, 2011 3:01 pm

If anyone is interested I'm looking at importing some of these from Germany as a group buy.

Image

Emergency seat-belt cutter. Very lightweight and can be attached using velcro to the side of the gyro.
The minumum order quantity from the supplier in Germany is 100 units and I expect the landed cost will be in the region of R70-R80 each (waiting for import duties from the clearing agent).
These are the good quality German ones.
Let's get an idea of numbers of those who might be interested.

*UPDATE* Final price looks set to be R85.50 (including VAT) as the cutters will be subject to import duties as "knives". Still a great price! Orders will close this Friday 8 July.
As a comparison this is what is currently available locally (made in China) at R568.00
