Beg, Borrow or Steal

Hi All
Ok my dreams of flying a gyro to Gariep are slowly diminishing, some things dont always go quite as planned. So this is my last chance plea to anyone who can help out. If anyone has a gyro, knows of a gyro that I can beg, borrow, steal, hire, buy shares in, for use for the Gariep trip please let me know. I am very willing to more than compensate for the privilidge, I also have access to full comprehensive insurance for peace of mind.
I know some of you guys dont always particuarly like Ozzies, but we aren't all that bad
Seriously if anyone knows of anyone who might be able to help out, I would be forever greatful.
Cheers
Darren

Have you tried the 303 boys? They used to be the only woer woer H&F oukes around.
Else try Wagtail. he may know of a Gyro. I know he had plenty for sale...
Lastly
Check the for sale section or guys who have a gyro for sale (especially if it just standing). Gyro get together would be awesome advertising for someone wanting to sell a Gyro. Just a thought...

Hi RVker
Unfortunately the guys at 303Sqn no longer have a machine available.
I have been in contact with the guys at Wagtail and am just awaiting a reply.
And yes the last option certaily has merit, hopefully somewhere out there someone has something to offer.
Cheers

Shucks Darren,
I hope you come right mate.
It would really be good to have you there.
After all the suppport you have shown to SA gyro flying since landing here, it would be truly fitting for you to FLY in to this world record attempt.

Darren,i am totally convinced that should you not get a gyro in time it will not be because your an "ozzie".You are a very likeable fellow.I know Wagtail is very busy at the moment and the chances of them helping you is highly unlikely.
