Which Gyro to buy

Postby ezp » Thu Apr 21, 2011 7:50 pm

Hi all,

I have a Jabiru 430 currently and am investigating the purchase of a Gyro. My wife and I are photographers and we need to fly LOW and SLOW. However we are planning a 4 month Sub-Sahara African photographic trip. So I need something very reliable, with decent range, decent useful load and can fly on Mogas. i.e. I need the perfect Gyro.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
Jan

Jan the only advice i can give you is the following .

Take time spend a small amount of money and fly them all , For every person there is a GYro that he or she likes best , All the gyro's avalable in SA are very good and have proven themselves , So make up your own mins ONLY after flying them all .

What i can tell you is that also having flown a J430 , the Gyro is a entire new dimention in flying , you will enjoy it so much

All the agents in SA are a friendly bunch , or even better take your J430 , and come visit us at Gariep dam over the weekend of the 20-22 may and experience hopefully 60+ gyro's .

JUst my 2c worth

I agree on both!

Go fly them all and visit Gariep! ;-)
