We are going in RJR. We plan to be at FASH around lunchtime, leave at about 14h00 - if we go the scenic route via Worcester, Robertson, Ashton, Montague, Barrydale - we'll be there at 16:15. Sounds about right to me.

This is all weather permitting of course. This good weather will probably not last until then.

Len, wx looks very good this weekend. Winds very light on Sat and Sun. Fri morn, no wind, becoming 15kt South Easter in the afternoon.

I'm happy to leave at 1400 from FASH.

There will be a briefing at STELLENBOSCH (FASH) Flying Club Tuesday at 18:00 regarding departing & arrivals for the Airshow. All welcome


Ok Guys we had the meeting at FASH yesterday evening , Nothing much that is not in the NOTAM , but the basics are the following .

Friday it will be Unmanned procedures . Len you need to Fly validation for the Airshow , slots from 15h00 to 18h00.

Saturday , Class C airspace , 5 nm out , GND to 3500 ft , Call Swellendam Tower on 120.20.

All Aircraft should be on the ground latest 09h30 am Local , Show starts 10h00 am .

Please be aware of the National Park next to Airfield and adhere to minimum overflying heights , they are very sensitive about this .

Will see you on the other side , will try to park the GYRO's together .

A little disappointing after all the hot air. NOONE leaving from FASH. Looks like it's man alone even the organiser's dropped out!!! I'll see whoever makes it over a few cold ones.

Looks like the only one's leaving from FASH are Len and myself (although I haven't confirmed this with Len yet!) at 1400. Where's everyone else?
