Can vouch for Len's Sycamore. He and I spent an hour or two in it and it really flew well. It is also well looked after.

Gyro looks pretty neglected to me, can you post pics without the dust on. Perhaps selling off the spares might be a better option, apart from the electric system that caused the engine out, obviously useless. Maybe some yacht owners on the forum can use it as an anchor. Just a few suggestions.
Also running for cover

Pot calling the kettle black. Maybe if Johan has a boat on Harties he can fetch himself another anchor from Kitty Hawk.

I had a flight lesson this morning with my gyro instructor. I told him about this bargain Sycamore I'd seen advertised on the forum. It was the strangest thing, but when I mentioned the registration of the gyro in question his face turned a funny shade of purple and he looked a little dangerous for a moment! He's normally such a gentle soul, can't imagine what grated his carrot like that :)

Paul, with friends like you...

I sense a conspiracy here... This is not even funny.

For the record, I love my Sycamore, yes it is being neglected and I feel bad about that but NO, it is not for sale.
Of course, everything has a price and if I was convinced someone wants to give it a really good home and take special care of it at the right price I may consider it but right now I have no desire to sell it. In fact I am in the process of upgrading the brakes etc with Frans' help as we speak.

Mak, beware of Paul and Learjet and the like - take my word for it, they are not to be trusted! ## ##

Eric, thanks for your kind words, these people are devious so beware of them!

Leon, the dustless Sycamore in your pic is an Ela.

VERY FUNNY PAUL!! You did rattle my cage, I must admit (^^)
Ok ok I will arrange to fetch it out of your hangar at the first available opportunity, I think you are trying to tell me something.

Grapkaste!

What do you mean you're upgrading the brakes????

They worked (almost) perfectly well in Botswana... and in fact you've always told us that the Sycamore was purpose built in Africa for African conditions!

Hey Jabbanaught you forgot to mention that if someone buys the Sycamore they'll get the half brick and length of string hi-tec braking system thrown in for free!

That is exactly why a Sycamore pilot has to open his door,to reel the brick in.
