Hi Braam,

I heard that by default, someone who has built a gyro becomes automatically an approved person on that machine.
If that is true, there must be quite a few people who have built kits here, particularly RAF's.

Your input will be appreciated.

Hi All.

We are planning the Approved Person Seminar for the 15 th of May at Kitty Hawk to start at 08h00. The intention being to have all the relevant parties making a presentation around their product and then also to discuss the legislation to a more practical level. This will be interactive with hopefully discussing practical problems and adressing the potential solutions. Gerrit Roux is busy negotiating for meals and a hangar will be set aside for the presentations and displays of some of the aircraft.

We need to start confirming numbers for attendance. Anybody interested is welcome but it is aimed more towards the AP's. Please let me know if you are interested.

Greetings and fly safely,

Braam Hechter

Good day all.

We have contacted the AP's as per the list and a few other interested people. There seems to be plenty other activities i.e. Carnavon, NAMPO etc. that takes presidence. We will therefor move the date and try to get better participation. We will place the date as soon as we have a better idea when it will be held.

We want to try and have the Instructors seminar on the 19 th of June 2010. Please keep this in mind.
