What a Great Day , Weather played along , and so did the Gyro pilots .

Firstly i want to complement each pilot that flew into FASH , Our safety officer was on hand the entire day and he commented that this was a very proffesional conduct from each pilot . Coming from him thats a BIG compliment . So guys THANKS for making my life so much easier , and its goes a long way in future plans as everybody will know that our GYRO community is proffesional and safety concious .

I also think the fact that we are arranging our OWN safety and training cessions will go along way in our future in this lovely sport .

We had a Awesome breakfast , and the chef prepared the outside .

Nice training / information cession was held , And a discussion about SAGPA which i found very constructive .

In Total we had 13 Gyro's but 24 People .

Thanks again guys .

Well done Paul! Great morning and thoroughly appreciated by all.
Thanks also to the Stellenbosch flying club for their facilities and their hospitable reception. Awesome place. You guys have a lot to be proud of.

Congratulations to Grumpy (Fides) who left his cabbage patch in his trike, came to FASH, and returned safely! Well done my man. Show the others how its done.

I am confident that the group that gathered there yesterday will become a strong force in the national gyro fraternity and if we can lead by example, we'll be doing something right and having a lot more fun in the process.

What an amazing bunch of well informed guys! I salute all of you.

Kind regards

Len

Paul, thank you very much for your wonderful hospitality and organisation, and to Len for showing us how to fly in formation with your rotors overlapped - safely. Seriously, a very good presentation on formation flying which showed us how important it is to all be 'on the same page' before you even think of wheels up.
