Was planning to buy a Xenon 1 year ago, but was advised against it by someone that knows their setup, so I bought a MT-03 instead, and have been extremely happy since.

What is actually happening with the Xenon gyro?

Where are the Xenons ?

Postby Vertical Tango » Wed Jan 16, 2008 4:48 pm

Yep, what delays ! A lot of frustation when the factory decided to move from France to Poland. I don't think that the local agents are to blame for much, but I would say more the french designer / owner etc... total lack of understanding the SA market and in general accepting the standard service that exists between client and supplier. However things are getting right. Praise for Braam for recognizing an outstanding design and swimming against a very strong current of attitudes, language barriers etc... The first 2 complete machines are arriving 1st week of Feb from Poland. I am building the last "authorised" kit as the factory does not supply kits anymore, and hope to fly by March.

Yes Vertical Tango's correct, two have just arrived, last wednesday 13th Feb at Rhino Park.
So hopefully they will be active soon.
One is a 914 RT, the other a 912 RST

You heard wrong vhpy

They are still there, I had coffee with the guys yesterday morning, servicing, building and repairs continue but the Gyro training is being scaled down. There are 3 Xenons there at the moment, the demo model and two new ones that are awaiting completion of paperwork before delivery.

Rudi

Yes, but unfortunately some "work" is getting in my way as well as a fishing trip next week on the Zambesi. Then a proper "work trip" to Sweden until the 13th...
Then Braam and I need to get together to get "converted". Then its into the skies.....
