All of us enjoyed this journey, my first and can not wait to for next time.
Spoke to Jaco earlier today, his enthusiasm was contagious.

It was highly appreciated by all of us for the effort Johan made to make this trip a success. Not to mention his willingness to help fellow pilots when his expertise was needed.

We were looking forward meeting all the guys from the south, and north that was flying in other groups, but it will have to wait till next time.

Until then, fly safe

Pierre

Mnr FLYNOTE,
I hope that when you get back in January you will be so heavy that the poor XENON will not be able to take off. That will teach you a lesson.

Marius &Juanita,
I dont think that the situation turned out well because im am a good pilot. In a situation like that your survival instinct kicks in and your reflexes take over.It helps if you fly often, even for short spells and get to know your aircraft intimately, but thanks for the vote of confidence. Some of my landings are quite scary.

" More boeta, is als oraait hier???"

O ja, voor ek vergeet, die Openbare omverskoning van ons kant af;

Mmm    and what is that going to be, a signpost every 1 km along the dirt road to indicate to the Valies which side is Brandvlei and which side is Loeries...

Will you be able to find Kitty on Saturday...I have a plan, start her up at Rhino, taxi to the runway and sit on the wheel and wait for us to arrive ( just like we practiced at Loeries), then we can escort you.
Cheers
