t-bird, unless I am reading too much between the lines, I am not sure I like where you are going with this.

For starters, your "guest list" (um, its Guess by the way) is totally wrong based on the facts provided by Learjet. For example ... Only one fatality in a Sycmore ever and that was Sean Klopper which is NOT attributable to the Sycamore or Sean yet you put Sycamore as #1. Then it was the RAF's turn to get knocked and now it seems you have it in for the MT03.

If you are trying to say an MT03 is unsafe in your opinion because some have burned on impact, then say so. Just keep in mind that several other types, including Magni's have also burned on impact.

If this thread is truly about improving safety I am all for it, when it becomes negative and petty then I am 124-8 zone out.

The first point that I want to prove is that even if the RAF is unstable it is possible to have less fatalities than the other Gyros.
I still believe that it is unstable but where are the accidents ????????

Apologies on having the Sycamore in the number 1 spot. Like I said it was a guess list.

It was admitted by Old no 07 that he had an engine out with 20 liters while doing a sharp decent. He has posted it previously; FOGYRO also admitted that this was the case with the MT

My conclusion would be that the RAF is a lot more unstable than the other gyro’s but these guys give proper training that enable pilots to fly safely.

I don’t like these post and would rather read or post about Gyro trips .

Guys, If you go back on all my posts you will not find a single one critisizing any particular make of Gyro.
All I asked in one of Eben's other recent posts was "where is the horizontal stabiliser? " because I thought that they had made it a permanent mod.
Why should this open up such a hornets' nest and why should people always become so defensive? ( I still think the lady doth protest too much)

I am all for gyro flying in all its forms and have made good buds with gyronuts from all stables.

I agree wholeheartedly. The equipment is but a small part of the equation. Training, experience are others, but to me ATTITUDE is the biggest killer.

Ek voel dit is beter om mens ordentlike opleiding te gee as om vir mense wat niks oor jou produk weet te luister.
Al wat ons gaan doen as ons een beskikbaar stel , net om die negatiewe praat weg te kry is om mens van die wal af in die sloot te help. Ek sien geen nut aan dit nie.

Hoe gaan dit met die vlieg, het jy toe al jou nuwe rotors gekry, hoe vlieg hulle?

Hi Eben - thanks for your views on that. I understand where you are coming from but I guess from being in advertising I'm always conscious of consumer / customer perceptions as well (even if they aren't right!)

I consider the RAF as an unstable Gyroplane as per stability research by Glasgow University. I am not going into this topic again.

On the question of helicopters , most helicopters have a horizontal stabilizer on the side.

Are some helicopter more unstable than others. Yes a Robbie is more unstable than a Oryx.

The only difference is the difference in stability between helicopters is not as big as Rest of Gyros and RAF.
