Wont you check available dates with gariep and we can put a few options out to see which date suits most guys.
Best weather will be late March to mid may. After that it is beautiful up here but the Capies start freezing and wetting and snowing and winding.

20/21/22 May 2011 - Clashes with Swartkops Airshow

Those are dates that we can get Accomodation at Gariep

I really think that we should maybe consider "breaking" away from certain of the big airshows, though, as they usually have the "heavies" there and gyro's do not really get much of a chance.
What I am saying is that the big shows and the little guys must be split so that all have an equal chance to show their stuff. Just think of Stellenbosch. The big shows are all about aerobatics, Harvards, etc and what chance does a microlight or gyro really get?
This is simply a thought. Let's get some thoughts on this issue as well.
