Hi Darren
I have been enjoying the UFO, flying all over. Currently busy replacing the rotor head with the latest technology Wagtail has to offer, including hydraulic pre rotator, which was a great concern.(could only pre rotate to 130rpm) did not like the possibility of rotor flap with the 33" rotor during ground roll and increased the ground roll.
Some things that changed recently, the UFO had a paint job, now yellow.
Fire wall replaced with stainless steel.
Control stick floor mounted on the pilot side.
Cable to support rotor head cheek plates from the "engine mount" to suppress mast bending during "high" G loads.
Removal of weights in the nose to correct c of g due to the Sycamore tail fitted.
Small mod on the brakes, locking pins used to break of during pre rotation.
Second intercooler installed.
There is still a few things to be done before she gets airborne again, I should have her ready end of next week for test flight at Wagtail.
I hope this will give you an indication of the progress.
Fly safe

If you fail.... get up and try again. That is the only way to succeed!
