Never knew exactly why this gyro was so heavy. Didn't thought of this simple explanation. The pun "as heavy as a brick" surely fits this one.

Frans, ek weet waar jou deur is, jy nie, so passop, jy sien hom dalk (soos die ander een) nooit weer nie

Fides, Sharrup en speel daai kitaar, jy is 'n beter sanger as afslaer, glo my.

I see you guys are having a lot of fun with my Sycamore. You have absolutely no idea How difficult it is to reel the brick in,Reel the measuring tape out and compensate for a downhill landing all during final approach. The measuring tape keeps on bending once a few metres out.It is true that Sycamore pilots are better.Any suggestions to lessen my workload?

You may be aware that we have quite tight restrictions on landing on inland waters with anything that flies. This has to do with the water hyacinth problem. Living in Hout Bay, 45 minutes from the nearest runway and 5 minutes from the bay, I have considered floats many times but dont know enough to even attempt it - also the regulation compliance worries me. Seems float-gyro's have been around since before the '80s.

Here are some video's I have seen of Benson, Sportcopter and Calidus also.
