Hi All.

We have imported a Xenon fuselage and am in the process of simulating the Xenon in x-plane. (See x-plane.com) The initial simulator will be a shallow box with a chair and then using the Saitek throttle, stickgrip and pedal assembly for initial testing of the software model. (This will give us the chance to test all the interaction, i.e. pre-rotator, throttle, start, taxying etc.) The second simulator being built, will be a box with a Xenon like centre consol on the side. (Half an aircraft) This will be representitive of the real Xenon in terms of size, layout, switches, throttle, pre-rotator etc. The intention is to use this as a procedural trainer. This will enhance training by making it easy to go through all the procedures without being in the aircraft. It will also give us the platform to test the analogue to digital converters for the potentiometers from the controls and also to fine tune the fidelity. This will then form the basis for the full motion simulator that will be built with the complete cockpit. A mockup of the MGL will be used in the cockpit and video projectors will be used for the outside view. It will also have a full instructor station.

In order to make up the timescales we need some knowledgeable members to assist us. Is there somebody out there willing to assist us with this endeavour.

Please pm me.

Greetings
