Bushveld flight

Postby t-bird » Wed Jan 07, 2009 5:33 pm

Decided to fly to the bushveld and to trust my fuel flow meter.
The fly time was 2 hours 20 minutes and I had 20 liters left in the tank
Take off from Midrand at 15h00 landed at a game farm next to Limpopo at 17h20

Just past Brits on my way to Thabazimbi

This is how instruments should look
Oil temp 100 degrees
Oil pressure in the middle of the green
VSI = Zero
Manifold pressure 28 inches
Airspeed 92 mph

T-bird

Look like you had a nice trip.

Have you installed the new hub bar? Reason i am asking, from your instruments, your trim pressure is at 3 bar but you cruise at 92 miles. If i trim at 3 bar we fly at 75 miles. Do you think this is just different trim / rotor setups?
