That is my R/Blade set up I will be re fitting to the Xenon Im rebuilding, Im no expert nor AP (cant lower my workmanship to AP level )


What do you need I will be re doing this entire set up in a few days and have been doing my homework

Thanks for the reply Greg. I have ordered the conversion for RAF rotorblades and hubbar from sportcopter. Have done a lot of research with USA users and got very posetive response. Mine should be here towards month end. Will keep in contact

That is very interesting? If I may ask why?

I had the opportunity to help to assemble a RAF some years back, what is the motivation to change? I found the quality of the locally supplied RAF kit to be exceptionally well manufactured.

Will the blades come pre assembled on the hub bar? (could be a bit large) if not you will need to hang and string the set up as far as Im aware?

Would be very interested to get feedback from you on this project, Please keep us in formed and if possible pictures from when you remove them from the crate.

Just remember the teeter bolt assembly must be hand tight in that the bolt must be able to rotate by hand even with the blades hanging on the teeter bushes, its important to shim it like that and then the safty pin must just butt up against the retaining bolt.

You've posted barely a handful of (mainly duplicated) posts on this board and I honestly can't decide whether you're here to discuss in a constructive manner or simply looking for a new platform upon which to engage in a carryover of your apparent RAF-bashing agenda?

You'll notice that this forum (and dare I say this gyro community as a whole) is a lot more polite and less devisive than its Rotarycraft forum counterpart. We'd like to keep it that way please.

So looking at this from an engineering angle? this set up must make tracking adjustments a breeze???

Peter is it a single bearing Head??? using a 3206 /5206?

Hi Greg, this is a standard RAF gimblehead with a double row angular contact ball bearing 3206. The tracking is a piece of cake and the blades are abselutely balanced. This is a real quality product.
